"Fatuous Fears" preview deux!

Preview of the second panel of the comic I am working on. This comic is taking forever, and it didn't really help that my 8 year old tablet decided to give up the ghost and I had to buy another. Sigh. Oh well, my new tablet is the shiznit. And yeah, plugging along.

ps. those aren't testicles.

"Fatuous Fears" preview

SO, this is a preview of the first panel to a comic I am currently working on.  I came up with the concept and did the sketch for it like a year ago and never did anything with it.  Since I recently was scolded by someone for not having done any new comics, I decided to resurrect "Machines Made of Meat" with a super detailed photoshop painted comic.  This panel isn't even finished yet, nor are the other three, but it's going to take a bit to get done.  ANYWAY enough rambling.

Peace out.

Horned Lizard. 76/183.

'nother all digital one. I added the city cause I wanted to add some new billboards i made up but they were so small i had to make them real detailed....And didn't want to make the whole city the same level of detail. So yeah, billboards are below, but you can barely see them in the actually drawing.
Whatever.

W3rdup!

Argali. 9/183.

GETTIT? it's an Argali wearing Argyle? FUNNY yeah?!
okay, I know, it's not.

I was really hoping to beat Jun today by uploading my Argali first but then I decided it would be a really great idea to spend over 2 hours painting this stupid thing. oh well.

Tomorrow is the Armadillo.
ALSO. If you have any suggestions for killer animals we should draw, TELL US! or at least one of us.

ps. not sure how I feel about that cropped version so here is the whole shabang.
It's got a kindof nice Gilbert Stuart's unfinished portrait of George Washington feel yeah? Except not of a president and not good.

Monster Town.

OKAY SO YEAH, this is what I have been busy wasting my time doing while not keeping up with my comic. But, uhm, this is a 24" x 36" acrylic painting done on hardboard, and it is going to be in a show at Koken Art Factory this Friday at the Monster Mash Art Bash , so if you are in St. Louis then come see it IN PERSON BAM!, if not well then that fucking sucks, so you'll hafto check out these close ups.

There are going to be screenprints of this in the very near future, not actual size, but it will be bitmaptastic! Stay tuned for that folks!
