Evil Head Hunt pt 2

Quick update that is about a week too late to make any damn difference but whatever.
You can see all of the artists and coasters that were printed for the evil head hunt over at the PBR Blog . Pretty cool eh?
The poster I did for the event is also up there, which you have all seen. So that's not really too interesting.

Evil Head Hunt pt1

Howdy y'all, sorry for the long absence, I have been busy as fuck. However, I shall prolly be posting everyday this week cause shit is gunna be happenin!

ANYHOO though, this is my rendition of Tom Huck's Evil Head for the PBR Evil Head Hunt. About 15 artists have done their interpretation of the Evil Head and they are being screenprinted by hand (by yours truly and the immortal A.J. Lovell) on coasters that are going to be at bars around St. Louie for SGC for all you humble partakers of Pabst Blue Ribbon. Collect and win a prize or something. I don't know all the details and don't have a link because I don't have facebook but I'll update with more info and pictures in the coming days.

PS. my original redraw of the Evil Head is here. I drew it again to make it easier to print and also, I hate everything I do after about 5 minutes, so i needed to give it another go.

Holy Fazoli look at all dem prants! I spent a part of my weekend screenprinting a shit ton of these lottery tickets for the Evil Prints EvilLottery, this is merely part of them.

I designed these tickets and have pretty much printed all of them, the one shown here was one that got fucked up post printing (THE FUCKING CREASE). So yeah, you get one of these sweet ass hand printed tickets when you buy one of Huck's Death Bugs and get the chance to win a whole Huck triptych. Pretty cool if you ask me. So check um out and stuff.

HOOWAH! Simple shirt I designed for the Evil Prints bootcamp this year, the evil head is obviously Huck's as seen here, the rest I had to do. Screenprinted a chunk of them with the help of the immortal A.J. Lovell.
I am going to be a few more t-shirt designs for the ol' Evil Prints in the coming months so you should be on the lookout for um.

FUCKING METAL

Just a lil' plaque I etched for one of the presses at Evil Prints that has been recently been dubbed "Snaggletooth". Etched in steel, wiped with ink, and then left to dry, and then mounted with magnets. WOO. fun yeah?

I likes doin' zee death metal type.

Okay, no pictures today, just general update stuff.

I decided to change the name of the zine I am working on from NevrEnuf to DickFace. I think it's a good change, a little less generic I guess? I dunno, I just think I would rather read something called DickFace than NevrEnuf, but maybe that's just me, but then again anyone that would be interested in what I do would also probably be interested in childish profanity.

In other news, I have like half a dozen projects I am trying to work on at the same time in addition to my TEMPORARY job at school. As well as trying to set up the etching area at Evil Prints which is a blast and a half. Bleh. I am not always the best at finishing the projects I start, I'm hoping to wrap a bunch of them up this summer, even more preferably this month. But who knows.

Bootleg Evil Head

So as you may well know, or not, I work at Evil Prints in Saint Louis which is a print shop owned, run, and ruled with an iron fist by the one and only Tom Huck . Well we were trying to come up with another evil prints t-shirt design and in the course of sketching up idears I decided I need to draw my own Evil Head. What is the Evil Head you might be asking yourself right now, scratching your head with your Dorito orange stained fingers. WELL, the Evil Head is the Evil Prints symbol...the end. And, it looks like this:


Pretty nifty eh? Well, I drew up my own and am gunna screen print it on a shirt for myself. Me. And me alone. No one else can have it. I gots dibs.


In other news...my girlfriend is snoring next to me and it's pretty fucking adorable. SRSLY. I could eat her up.
And also, more real news soon, including images from my show and some new sketch work and proofs from "The Matters of Grey". WOOHOO! HOLY SHIT! DON'T MISS IT (you won't)!
