So I was struck with some strep throat last week and in lieu of making shit I watched alot of cartoons and movies. So thinking about such things, I thought I would post some of my favorite cartoons as I am, surely to your utter disbelief, a huge fan of cartoons, especially golden age shit. These aren't new favorites, but I thought I would start at with some of the best and maybe keep doing these when I don't shit else to show/say.

Since "machines made of meat" is clearly on hiatus for a bit, I found this comic I did about a year and a half ago while still in school. I can't remember what the assignment was, I think it might have been to do a comic of a true story? I guess? Whatever, not important. Um, yeah its really big so you can actually READ everything, I wrote all the text way too damn small. Learned a thing or two since I did this I guess.

Anyhoo, this is a super tiny etching I did recently that debuted at Prints Gone Wold, I think it's 2" x 3"? Well it was the first official test etching done at evil prints, that being one that was actually finished and printed as it is intended to be.

So I came across THIS tumblr page awhile ago and was so happy to see it. It really drives me crazy to see all of these super nice sketchbooks with well developed images as if they were final pieces posted all over the interwebs. I don't believe in that. SO in the spirit of keeping sketch books sketchy, here are some images from a sketchbook I finished a month or so ago, it was handmade, just a stapled together piece of crap I could easily carry around. So in the midst of doing some "research" for future projects, i've been watching a bunch of zombie movies, and everyone in the world needs to watch "Dead Snow" ASAfuckingP!
It's on Netflix, so if you have it, WATCH IT.

the washu printmaking department recently got a vinyl plotter so of course I had to test it out. Stuck this bad boy on my sweet ass ride. I have the coolest volvo station wagon this side of anywhere.

Holy Fazoli look at all dem prants! I spent a part of my weekend screenprinting a shit ton of these lottery tickets for the Evil Prints EvilLottery, this is merely part of them.

I designed these tickets and have pretty much printed all of them, the one shown here was one that got fucked up post printing (THE FUCKING CREASE). So yeah, you get one of these sweet ass hand printed tickets when you buy one of Huck's Death Bugs and get the chance to win a whole Huck triptych. Pretty cool if you ask me. So check um out and stuff.

HOOWAH! Simple shirt I designed for the Evil Prints bootcamp this year, the evil head is obviously Huck's as seen here, the rest I had to do. Screenprinted a chunk of them with the help of the immortal A.J. Lovell.
I am going to be a few more t-shirt designs for the ol' Evil Prints in the coming months so you should be on the lookout for um.

Kay so I was wearing this shirt...NOW and realized that I had never put it up on the bloggy-blogs so I figure now would be not such a bad time to do so. Shitty webcam photo because I am the lazy. Just a lil' plaque I etched for one of the presses at Evil Prints that has been recently been dubbed "Snaggletooth". Etched in steel, wiped with ink, and then left to dry, and then mounted with magnets. WOO. fun yeah?

The Saint Paul Review: Intro!

As of right now, if y'all aren't aware, I live in St.Louis Missouri, however I will, most likely, only be here for another year or so. With that in mind I have decided to try as many varieties of my favorite St.Louis cuisine, the St. Paul sandwich. What is a St. Paul sandwich, you ask? Well a St. Paul is made up of white bread, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mayonnaise, and...egg foo yong! And it's fucking awesome. So over the next year I am going to be sampling these delights from as many chinese restaurants as possible and am going to be reviewing them right here! So look forward to that...in the future!


This is a drawing I did in...January, I think? I was initially going to make it into a screenprint but i may never do it as it is very low on my list of priorities. So whether I end up doing that or not, I figure I may as well let the internet see it. fucking METAL, right?
